We at AAL LTD have a large network of companies whom refurbish and supply secondhand beds.  These also come with a 6-month standard warranty.  This can be extended to 12 months for additional £75.00 ex vat.  However, if a bed is going to fail, it’s going to fail in the first few weeks, which happens but rarely and in the effect of this happening, we will put it right within a short period of time.

What guarantees do you get when buying a hospital bed?

The beds are deep cleaned before being dispatched and during refurbishment. The actuators are LOLER tested, working parts are tested and replaced if wear & tear is found.  If within the first 6 months there is any failures of actuators, these are replaced.

Consumables like handsets and castors are covered under the 6-month warranty, however, we will need to see images of failed parts.  These are not covered if accidental damage has occurred.
