MIP Evacuation Sheet

MIP's Evacuation Sheet is designed to remain under the mattress, ensuring it is always ready for the rapid evacuation of patients or residents during an emergency. The sheet functions by wrapping around the patient, cocooning them within the mattress to create a protective sledge. Drag loops at the head and foot allow for towing the patient to safety.

Two securing options are available to keep the evacuation sheet in place under the mattress:

  • Velcro straps: Secure the sheet to the bed frame.
  • Elastic straps: Loop around each end of the mattress.

  • Fire Resistance: Tested to EN12952 standards.
  • Latex-free: Suitable for allergy-sensitive environments.
Maintenance:

The evacuation sheet can be easily removed for laundering in case of soiling.

Routine maintenance is not required for the evacuation sheet. However, periodic inspection is recommended, focusing on stitching, webbing, and fabric condition to identify any degradation over time.
