We at Enable Living are passionate about things being done correctly.  Consequently, we have created this short video explaining the requirements to successfully service a Molift Smart and any other type of patient hoist.  If they ain't weighted, they ain't tested!.

Here are a few questions to ask your engineer or servicing company...

  • Are you insured?  Do you have at least 5 million pounds Liability Insurance?
  • Are you trained?
  • Do you have the reset software to service the hoist?
  • Are you bring weights + 10% of SWL to LOLER test the hoist?
  • Do you have recommendations?

It's your responsibility and your staff to ensure the hoist is safe.  Moreover, it's to protect the service user.
