Helena Freestanding Traverse Gantry System
The Helena Freestanding Traverse Gantry System is a high-performance, portable lifting solution specifically engineered for environments where a permanent ceiling track system is not viable. Whether for temporary installations or mobile applications, Helena delivers exceptional support with a maximum safe working load of 285 kg (628 lbs).
Constructed from durable yet lightweight aluminium, the system combines structural integrity with ease of assembly, disassembly, and relocation. Its clean, compact design ensures discreet integration into various care settings.
The integrated traverse (x–y) rail system allows a ceiling lift unit to travel freely in all directions across the full lifting area. The cross-rail glides smoothly along the fixed side rails, offering complete coverage for both low and high lift transfers.
Helena is available in three model sizes, each offering different width and length dimensions to accommodate a wide range of care spaces. The height of the gantry can be adjusted to ten discrete positions in 50 mm increments, allowing precise alignment with specific patient and environmental requirements.
Supplied as a complete and ready-to-use system, Helena is fully compatible with all Handicare ceiling lift units and offers a reliable, safe, and flexible solution for temporary patient handling needs.
