The Prism Universal Sling is a versatile, general-purpose patient transfer sling designed to provide safe, supportive and comfortable transfers for individuals with limited mobility. Designed for ease of use, the Prism Universal Sling is straightforward to fit and offers flexible positioning to accommodate different transfer requirements. The sling can be used with either a divided-leg or cross-over configuration, allowing caregivers to select the positioning most appropriate for the individual and the type of transfer being carried out.
The Prism Universal Sling is available with or without integrated head support, providing additional flexibility for users who require greater upper-body and head support during transfers. This makes the sling suitable for a broad range of patient handling needs.
The Prism Universal Sling is available in five different material options, allowing the sling to be selected according to the user's individual requirements and intended application.
Polyester/Slip-Fit combines the strength and support of polyester with a smooth finish that helps make fitting easier. It is a practical option for general patient transfer applications and everyday use.
Polyester Mesh provides a breathable and durable construction, making it particularly suitable for bathing and pool transfers. The open mesh design allows water to pass through the material while providing secure support during lifting.
Slip-Fit is designed to make fitting and removal as straightforward as possible. Its smooth fabric can be particularly beneficial when working with individuals who have limited movement or when access around the user is restricted. This material is not suitable for bathing applications because it can retain water when the user is hoisted.
Spacer is a soft and breathable material designed to conform comfortably around the user's body. It is particularly suitable for individuals who may require sling use for extended periods, helping provide a comfortable and supportive transfer experience.
Patient-Specific is manufactured from non-woven polyester and is intended for short-term applications. It can be useful where a temporary sling is required or where reducing the risk of cross-infection is an important consideration. This material is not washable and is intended for limited-duration use.
