Introducing Swift® by MIP, a washable in-bed repositioning system that is discreet, comfortable for the care receiver, and suitable for use in community and residential care settings, respite units, hospice care, and acute settings such as frail elderly care, complex needs, palliative care, and intensive care.

The Swift® In-Bed Repositioning System combines the UltraSlide® Bottom Sheet with Swift® Sliders to assist more dependent patients or residents who have minimal or no mobility and require extensive or total repositioning assistance. Its ultra-thin, breathable fabrics allow the device to remain under the patient at all times without compromising the performance of specialty mattresses.

• Developed by MIP in partnership with a practicing Physiotherapist, Swift® ensures caregivers have an effective tool for safe repositioning while maintaining the patient’s comfort and dignity.
• The UltraSlide® Bottom Sheet features MIP's patented Smart Sheet design (Standard) and Envelope design (Bariatric), incorporating an integrated low-friction panel to facilitate bed mobility. It is suitable for patients with varying mobility levels and fits most healthcare mattresses, including profiling beds and alternating air pressure-reducing mattresses:
  • Standard Dimensions: Width: 32"–36" (81–91 cm), Length: 78"–84" (198–213 cm), Depth: 4"–8" (10–20 cm).
  • Bariatric Dimensions: Width: 42"–50" (107–127 cm), Length: 78"–84" (198–213 cm), Depth: 5"–9" (13–23 cm).
• The Swift® Slider, a friction-reducing device, assists with repositioning, boosting, and turning in bed. Its breathable, low-friction backing minimizes heat buildup, enhancing patient comfort. Swift® Sliders are visually appealing, resembling standard bedding, and can remain on the bed when not in use:
  • Full-Length Swift Slider: Supports the full length of the patient.
  • Full-Length Swift Slider with Handles: Features inset handles along both lengths for hoist compatibility.
