Castellation plus the v-cut geometry work together to lower peak interface pressures at vulnerable sites such as the shoulders, hips and heels, while maintaining consistent support across profiling positions. Hygiene, Maintenance & Sterilisation
The mattress is fitted with a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable PU cover that is both water resistant and antimicrobial. The cover is machine washable — set the main wash to 65°C for at least 10 minutes or 95°C for at least 3 minutes for effective decontamination. The cover may be tumble dried on a low cycle with temperatures not exceeding 60°C. For maximum sterilisation, the internal foam is autoclavable at 134°C.
