The Theia Air On Foam mattress is a hybrid pressure relief system designed for patients at High Risk of developing pressure ulcers. It combines the comfort of a high-specification foam base with the clinical benefits of an alternating air system, ensuring continuous support even during power interruptions.
Key Features:
The mattress contains 17 nylon TPU air cells positioned on a 2-inch castellated foam base. The foam base is designed to redistribute pressure and allow the mattress to conform to the movement of profiling beds. The system is protected by a multi-stretch, vapor-permeable, and water-resistant PU cover with welded seams to assist with infection control and prevent fluid ingress.
Theia Pump System:
The digital pump operates on a 1-in-2 cell cycle over 12 minutes to ensure consistent pressure redistribution. It features an adjustable weight dial to customize the firmness based on the user's needs. The pump includes audible and visual alarms for low pressure or power failure, and a static mode for stable patient handling. A rapid CPR pull-tag is included for emergency deflation.
