The Theia Digital Pump is the brain of the system, offering a user-friendly interface to tailor therapy to individual patient needs. It features 2:1 alternating therapy which provides active pressure redistribution by inflating and deflating cells in a 10-minute cycle, mimicking natural body movement to prevent tissue breakdown. The pump includes a static mode with a 20-minute timer for stable patient nursing or transfers before automatically reverting to alternating mode for safety. Intelligent safety alarms provide both audible and visual alerts for low pressure or power failure, ensuring immediate caregiver awareness. An auto-lockout feature prevents accidental setting changes by locking the control panel after 5 minutes of inactivity, and integrated bed hooks allow for secure mounting to almost any bed footboard.
Advanced Mattress Construction
The mattress is optimized for comfort and stability with a hybrid cell layout consisting of 3 static head cells to prevent dizziness and 17 alternating cells for targeted body pressure relief, all supported by a 20-cell static base. For emergency readiness, dual CPR pull tags at the foot end allow for rapid deflation in seconds. Clinical-Grade Protective Cover
The multi-stretch, water-resistant cover is vapour permeable to protect skin integrity. Ultrasonic welded seams provide a total barrier against fluid ingress to ensure high infection control standards. The cover is treated with Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial technology, which is fully encapsulated within the fabric to inhibit microbial growth, reduce odours, and extend the life of the cover. Additionally, a specialized white inner substrate makes strike-through or physical damage immediately visible during inspections.
